Outsider (The Bleeder en VO) nous fait découvrir la carrière en dents de scie du boxeur méconnu Chuck Wepner, qui avait tenu 15 rounds contre Mohammed Ali en 1975. Un destin de perdant magnifique qui avait inspiré à Sylvester Stallone son personnage de Rocky (voir le test 4K Ultra Blu‑Ray de Creed, l'héritage de Rocky Balboa). Un pur film de boxe porté par un casting de stars, composé de Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan), Naomi Watts (Mulholland Drive), Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy) ou encore Elisabeth Moss (Top of the Lake).
Le film est dispnible auourd'hui chez Metropolitan Film & Vidéo en Blu‑Ray et DVD, avec image HD et VO/VF DTS‑HD Master Audio 5.1 pour le Blu‑Ray. Un petit making of en bonus.
